Liveryman & Journeyman Cooper Euan Findlay found himself appearing on television last week not once, but twice!
Firstly, on Sunday 15th June, he was featured in episode 2 of Channel 4’s ‘Our Yorkshire Shop: A Victorian Restoration’ when he was called upon to repair a butter churn. We think you will agree he did a splendid job turning a real mess into a beautifully restored and fully functioning churn. No doubt the butter, subsequently churned over hours, was delightful but it is a lot quicker if you need a pack of butter to pop to the local shop!
On Friday 20th June, courtesy of Celebrity Gogglebox series 7 episode 3, he can be seen again when clips from the aforementioned ‘Our Yorkshire Shop: A Victorian Restoration’ were shown to the celebrities who duly added an abundance of sharp-witted comments! Well done Euan!

For anyone in Guildhall Yard on the morning of Saturday 21st June, you would have seen Euan racing as part of the Coopers’ team in the Annual Cask Race! Check back soon for the report and photos!
