The Worshipful Company of Coopers opened the doors to Coopers’ Hall to the general public on Saturday 20th September as part of the Open House Festival 2025.

Our volunteer Coopers’ Member guides were kept extremely busy throughout the day with nearly 550 visitors coming through the door and answering the many questions raised.

Coopers’ Hall is still recovering from an extensive period of refurbishment and redecoration but the building looks more beautiful than ever before in modern times. Sadly, some of the artefacts and pictures of the Worshipful Company of Coopers, were not on display but despite this, there was still plenty of interest with a number of visitors taking delight in trying on the Master’s and Beadle’s robes on display.

We look forward to taking part again in the Open House Festival 2026 with the date to be confirmed in due course.
