On Saturday 8th November Master Helena Cooke and Under Warden Samantha Conlon represented the Worshipful Company of Coopers when they processed through the City of London, with other Senior Livery Companies, in the Lady Mayor’s Show. The Lord Mayor’s Show has been held for over 800 years and this is the first time in history the event has been known as the Lady Mayor’s Show.

We were pleased to have been supported by the Company’s affiliated Army Cadets and flying the Coopers’ new banner.

The Master of Worshipful Company of Coopers was also honoured to join the Commanding Officer, HMS President Cdr Ed Bingham when the Lady Mayor was presented with a traditional tot of rum on her arrival back at Mansion House. A Coopers’ welcome for the new Lady Mayor Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley

The rum cask was made by Journeyman Cooper Euan Findlay with this being the third time it has been used for the presentation, having been crafted in 2023.
