The Coopers’ Banquet on 14th November did not disappoint!

In true tradition, we were the first Livery Company to host a Banquet with the newly elected Lady Mayor of London, Dame Susan Langley DBE—the 697th Lord Mayor, the first to hold the title Lady Mayor, and the third woman to serve in the role.

Guests were welcomed to Mansion House with a champagne reception accompanied by beautiful music from our own Liveryman and pianist Claire Habbershaw. The evening continued in the magnificent Egyptian Hall, where a four-course banquet by Social Pantry was paired with exceptional wines and Port selected by the Company.

Musical performances by the Gibson Symphonic Orchestra of Coopers’ Company & Coborn School, the Royal Marines Association Band, and talented soloist Rachel Roper created a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

A particular highlight was the distinguished Top Table, featuring the Master Helena Cooke, the Lady Mayor, our speaker Her Honour Judge Anuja Dhir KC, and Society President & Under Warden Samantha Conlon.

The Master’s full speech will appear in The Cooper Magazine early in 2026. Photos are now available for members to download in the gallery.
