One Week to Go Until the Mount Fuji Challenge

With just one week to go, YW Scott Kelly, better known to so many as YW BEEFY409 and additionally to members of the Coopers' Company as our Chief Beadle, is preparing to travel to Japan with Team Endeavour for his latest challenge: climbing Mount Fuji via the sacred Yoshida Trail, from Sea to Summit.

This time, Scott will once again have a very special companion by his side — The Unknown Soldier, his weighted mannequin, who will accompany him throughout the challenge.

The challenge will test Scott both physically and mentally, with altitude, distance, terrain, weather and the additional weight of The Unknown Soldier all adding to the difficulty. However, the goal is much bigger than simply reaching the summit.

Scott and The Unknown Soldier are taking on the Mount Fuji Challenge to raise valuable funds and awareness for five incredible charities:

Team Endeavour

Rawthey Project

Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND Association)

RAMIT Rugby

Wooden Spoon Charity

Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help support these organisations and the important work they carry out.

Scott said that knowing people are supporting the challenge will provide extra motivation when the going gets tough.
